The Area

The Grey District & the West Coast

One of the main comments we get from our overseas clients is that they spend too much time on the road and not enough time exploring the stunning countryside, and doing more of the amazing activities on offer. What you need to do is slow down and spend more than one night at every stopover to get a true appreciation of the real New Zealand.

As time is usually the limiting factor when on holiday, instead of travelling the whole of New Zealand or even the whole of the South Island in your given time frame, try and spend longer in one or two regions and really enjoy your New Zealand experience.

Therefore, we suggest you allow enough time to do everything that interests you when planning your holiday to the West Coast as there is much to do in the Grey District and around the greater West Coast region. Greymouth Seaside Top 10 Holiday Park is a perfect place to call home while you explore the entire region.

Greymouth is centrally located to all major activities and attractions, with Westport just 1.5 hrs drive north and Glacier country just 2 hrs drive south you can take advantage of our great facilities without having to unpack your bags every day.

We have outlined a variety of our favourite adventure activities, attractions, short walks and day trips to help you plan your stay.

If you have any questions regarding any of the local attractions and activities please do not hesitate to contact us. We also offer a full tour and transport booking service.
